Looking for a scholarship? Below are a list of scholarships available for the academic school year. Both local Michigan and general scholarships are listed.
The Rosa Parks Scholarship
This scholarship is open to Michighan public or private high school seniors. The candidate must have a GPA higher than a 2.5 and provide an application form and an essay. The scholarship amount is $2000. The deadline for this scholarship is March 2nd!
The Coleman A. Young Foundation Scholarship
The student applying for this scholarship must fill out an online application, and if chosen, must attend mandatory interviews an events. The scholarship amount is $20,000. The deadline for this scholarship is March 4th!
The Judith A. Quinn Detroit Member Chapter Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to an AIST Detroit Member Chapter area student who meets the eligibility requirements. The scholarship amount ranges between $2,500-$5,000. The deadline for this scholarship is April 30th!
The Detroit College Promise Scholarship
There are 4-year requirements to be eligible for this scholarship. Live in and attend in any Detroit high school for 4 years, have a cumulative 3.0 GPA in your senior year, and score at least a 21 on the ACT or 1060 on the SAT. The scholarship amount is the last dollar funding. Please talk with your school’s counselor for more information on the application deadline!
